Unwinding in Uzbekistan

“Of all the countries out there why Uzbekistan?” This was the question I was asked the most when I revealed my plan of visiting Uzbekistan. People easily confuse this country with Afghanistan even though there is more to it than just desert, camel, heat, and onions. In my 12 days journey, the rich food, history, exquisite terracotta and tilework astonished me even though I am not a history nerd. It felt like I was walking in Agrabah! You really have to visit this Central Asian country by yourself to experience what it has to offer!
